What materials are used to make my photo backdrops?
The backdrops are digitally printed with water-based color and come in two different materials.
One material is strong 220gr. Recycled polyester, which is B1 fire approved and Øko-tex 100 environmentally certified. The colors are water-resistant, UV-resistant and very strong.
The other material is 200gr. No-tear paper – environmentally friendly polypropylene. no-tear paper – environmentally friendly polypropylene. Can be wiped with a wet cloth.
How are my photo backdrops finished?
As standard, backdrops are supplied in Polyester with a 7 cm run at the top. However, the smallest size (100cm x 120cm) will, as a starting point, be cut to format without a runner (be delivered without a runner).
No-tear paper is supplied without a runner.
If a different type of finishing is desired, you are welcome to send an email with your wishes to support@nordicbackdrop.com. You can expect a quick response with a solution and price for your inquiry.
What size photo backdrops should I buy?
It can be difficult to judge what size you need, especially if it’s your first time using a backdrops. To help you make the right decision, we have created a size guide that compares our different sizes. If you are still in doubt, you are welcome to send an email to support@nordicbackdrop.com, where you describe your set up – here it is important, in order to achieve the best sparring, that we receive information about which product/motive you want to photograph or what function the backdrops is intended for.
Will my photo backdrops be exactly the same color as on the website?
All images shown on the website are for inspiration only. Although computer monitors are becoming more uniform, they can still vary due to different color settings. Therefore, we cannot guarantee exact color matches, but the color will be as close to the displayed color as possible. The backdrops will also change in relation to lighting, distance, aperture and editing. Which gives you many opportunities to create your own personal expression.
Will my photo backdrops be the exact size that I order?
In general, your backdrops will be close to the exact size, but please note that, due to the production method, the backdrops will vary 2-3% in size.
How should I store my photo backdrops?
All backdrops are delivered rolled up on a cardboard tube. We do this to prevent the fabric in our polyester backdrops from creasing or the tear-resistant paper from being damaged.
When you are not using your backdrop, we recommend rolling it back onto the tube.
If your polyester backdrop becomes wrinkled, this can be partly remedied by hanging it in a warm room for 24 hours before use. You can also iron your polyester backdrop. Please note that this must be done on the reverse side.
If your no-tear paper background gets dirty, it can be wiped off with a damp cloth.
How should I care for and maintain my photo backdrops?
The backdrops in no-tear paper are water and tear-resistant and can be wiped with a damp cloth with warm water.
The polyester backdrops can be washed in the washing machine at 30 degrees and without the use of fabric softener. Since they are printed on a flexible material, they may become wrinkled. Therefore, always ensure that they are laid flat when in use and rolled up on the cardboard tube after use. If you think your backdrop has become too wrinkled, you can iron it on the back
How long should I expect delivery time?
As standard, there is a delivery time of 7-9 working days from ordering to when you receive your backdrops.
All packages are sent with UPS and you will receive a track&trace number by mail as soon as your order is ready to be sent.
Standard delivery time applies to delivery to all EU countries. If you live outside the EU, you should expect a delivery time of up to 15 working days.
How much do I have to pay in shipping?
All prices in the shop include shipping. However, a shipping cost to countries outside the EU must be expected.
Can I have my own photo printed on a backdrop?
Yes, you can order backdrops with your very own image/design. You can find all the details in the “design yourself” section.
