From the beginning of Nordic Backdrop, the environment has been at the center of our product development.
We started with our 220gr Polyester backgrounds. They didn’t just have to be beautiful, washable and reusable, so they became an environmentally sound choice in the long run – NO! They should already be environmentally sound in their production. Therefore, our Polyester backdrops are made from Recycled polyester, and are therefore a recycled product from other plastic products. As something new, we have now introduced our Tear-resistant paper – a Polypropylene product that does not emit any harmful chemicals, is recycled and has a very small environmental footprint. It can be wiped off with a wet cloth and thus also used many times. It also becomes 96% water when burned.

We have given a lot of thought to how we could make life easier for both photographers and small businesses, so that e.g. can make their own SOME material themselves – easy and simple.

The requirements for our materials are high: they must be sustainable and reduce the buy-and-throw-away culture. Naturally, our backdrops also have to be suitable for everyday use. Therefore, they are easy to roll up and take with you in the car or under your arm.
