These terms and conditions, along with the order confirmation, constitute the whole contractual basis for your purchase at www.nordicbackdrop.com. The contractual basis, along with other information on the website, is available in Danish, German and English.


You must be 18 years of age to make a purchase from the webshop.




A binding contract will be established between you and www.nordicbackdrop.com when your order has been confirmed by e-mail (you must provide an e-mail address when you order from the webshop).




The price payable is the one quoted in the webshop for the item(s) at the time of ordering.


All prices are normally quoted in the webshop incl. VAT and other taxes.


However, if you are ordering as a company with a CVR/VAT number and the company is domiciled outside Denmark, your order will be invoiced without any VAT added.


Nordic Backdrop reserves the right to change prices which have clearly been listed incorrectly in the webshop. We may also change prices in response to changes in public taxes and charges.





www.nordicbackdrop.com accepts payment by:

Payment will not be taken until the item is shipped. If you have ordered several items and one of them is on back order, payment for this item will only be taken when it is dispatched.


When you purchase through ViaBill, you will receive your goods first. You must then pay the agreed monthly instalment on the 20th of each month. If payment is not made on time, you will be charged a fee of DKK 39. If you cancel your purchase, the agreement for payment with ViaBill will terminate. Viabill finances purchases of up to DKK 12,000. Amounts over DKK 2,000 are financed in collaboration with SparXpress. (Read more here: www.viabill.com/kredit).


When purchasing through Klarna Pay Now (Sofort), you can order items from www.nordicbackdrop.com and choose ‘Pay later’ as your payment method. In addition to an e-mail confirmation, you will receive a separate e-mail from Klarna with full payment details. The invoice must then be paid 14 days afterwards.


Nordic Backdrop uses an approved payment server which encrypts all your card data with the SLL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol, which means that nobody can read your data.


When you pay by bank transfer, you are not protected by the objection scheme.




Unless otherwise stated, your item(s) will be shipped within 5–7 business days by UPS.

There is no shipping charge for goods dispatched within the EU.


Nordic Backdrop will not be liable for any delay occurring at UPS.

However, if your goods do not reach you for some other reason, we will of course send you a new item.



All purchases on www.nordicbackdrop.com are covered by the rules in the Danish Consumer Contracts Act on the right to cancel and the right of return, which means that you, as a customer, have the right to cancel your contract with us without giving any reasons.


The right to cancel applies for 90 days, beginning on the day on which you receive the item.

You will then have a further 14 days to return the goods.



You must notify us within 14 days of receipt of your item(s) that you wish to cancel your purchase. Notice must be given by e-mail to support@nordicbackdrop.com.


In the message, please make it clear that you want to exercise your right to cancel.

You can also choose to use our standard cancellation form and send it with the return.

You cannot cancel the purchase by simply refusing to accept the goods or by sending them back.

Shipping costs for returns are payable by you and are of no concern to Nordic Backdrop.

If we receive your returned goods without you having notified us that you wish to exercise your right to cancel, you will be charged for the return shipment.

Once we have received the item and approved the return, we will refund the purchase price as quickly as possible to the payment card you used when you ordered the items.


It is not possible to refund the money to a different credit card.


Nordic Backdrop may withhold payment until the item is received, unless you send us documentation to show that you have returned it.


Please note that if you cancel parts of the order, the shipping costs will not be refunded.



When you return the item(s), you are responsible for ensuring that they have been packed properly.


When you send the item(s), it is therefore a good idea to provide documentation to show that they have been dispatched, as you, the buyer, are responsible for them until they have been returned to us.


Please note that we do not accept packages COD or packages marked for collection.


You will only be liable for any reduction in the value of the item(s) which is due to handling beyond what is needed to determine the nature, properties and functioning of the item.


In other words, you can try out the item in the same way as is possible in a physical shop, but you must not take it into actual use. If the item has been tried out beyond what is described above, it will be deemed to have been used, which means that if you cancel the purchase, you will at most part get of the purchase price back, depending on the commercial value of the item.


We recommend that you send the item back in the original packaging.

If the original packaging is missing, this could reduce the value of the item.



Certain items cannot be returned by regular mail.

This applies to large backgrounds, for example.


The cost of returning these items is not expected to exceed DKK 79.00 incl. VAT with UPS. The costs are payable in full by you.



In accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act, a 24-month warranty will be granted on all goods.


The warranty means that you, as a customer, can complain about any errors and defects in the product occurring up to 24 months after purchase. This means that you can have the item repaired or exchanged, ask for your money back or get a reduction in the price, depending on the specific situation.


This is on the proviso that defects have not arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product, ordinary wear and tear or other damaging behaviour.


You must make your claim within a reasonable amount of time after identifying the defect.


If you claim within 2 months of identifying the defect, this will be considered timely.


We will reimburse any reasonable shipping costs that you may incur in connection with the return of goods when the complaint is justified (i.e. the item is defective).


In the case of complaints, errors or defects, you can contact us via email at support@nordicbackdrop.com.             In connection with the claim, please state the background of your complaint and describe the problem with the product. Please also state your order or invoice number.

If a refund has been agreed, please also send bank details so that the refund can be transferred.




For you to shop with us, we need the following information: name, address, telephone number and e-mail. Collection of this information is necessary for us to deliver your goods to you.


This personal data will be recorded and stored for 5 years, after which it will be deleted.


We record your personal information for the purpose of delivering the goods to you.

Information provided to us will not be passed on, sold or made available to third parties. It will only be disclosed if it is necessary for us to do so in order to dispatch your order or send e-mails to you. We do not record any sensitive personal information. When personal information is collected via our website, we ensure that this is always done with your express consent, so you are told exactly what information is being collected and why.


You can always find out what personal data we have collected via our website by contacting support@nordicbackdrop.com. You can always object to the recording of your data. These rights are granted to you under the Danish Personal Data Act, and in this connection, you can simply contact support @nordicbackdrop.com.


According to the Personal Data Act, your personal data must be stored securely and confidentially, which is why we store your information in our own systems, which are not accessible to unauthorised persons outside the company.
